SLINGO

Slingo is a type of online gambling game that comes as a fusion between Bingo and Slots. It also derives some features from the classic game show which was called “The Joker’s Wild’. It was developed as a traditional five reel slot machine game for the first time in the year 1995.

In a game of Slingo, a user gets to spin twenty turns the numbers below his/her Bingo cards. As a consequence, five numbers appear. If these same numbers are found to be on the card, they can be marked off. Numbers apart, there are other special items that may show up in the number spots below each of the cards. The Jokers are regarded as wild because they can be used to mark off any number on the column if the Jokers appear on it. If a Joker appears in the center column, it can act as a Super Joker and you are allowed to place it anywhere on the board.

A special item that may appear during the game is the devil. In case it appears in the place of any number, the player’s score gets halved. Otherwise, a cherub appears, it nullifies the effect of the Devil by shooting it (with an arrow). The other special items are Coins and Free spins. Coins grant automatic points to the players. In Slingo, the last four points are to be bought with points. If a player has collected free spins, he can use these instead of fees for the last spins.

Slingo is to be played in multiplayer mode although a large number of websites have the single player version too. Apart from the gaming version of Slingo on the internet, there are versions available for your PC and mobile phones too. A handheld electronic Slingo too is available but this version of Slingo does not have any Super Jokers, Multiple Jokers or cherubs.

Slingo combines the thrills of slot machines and the fast paced fun of Bingo and thus it enjoys a huge popularity.
